Our Mission

The Black Psychiatry Collective uses diverse media to both assist and educate both Black communities and physicians about the mental health needs for communities that have been historically neglected and excluded from care. The initiative includes multiple forms of digital engagement. It is a multifaceted non-profit organization promoting equitable mental health care and expand access.

The Black Psychiatry project is also supported by and created for HBCU medical students, starting off with Howard University College of Medicine and Meharry Medical College.
